Who can use SiraPet
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to use SiraPet. You agree that any information you provide is accurate and that you are responsible for keeping it up to date.
Your account
- You are responsible for the security of your phone number, verification codes, and device.
- Do not share your account or let others sign in on your behalf.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
What SiraPet is and is not
SiraPet helps you:
- Store your pet's medical records and share them with veterinarians.
- Discover vets, shops, groomers, walkers, trainers, and other pet care professionals.
- Place orders with pet shops and book services with providers.
SiraPet is not a veterinarian and does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information shown in the app — including automated reminders and recommendations — is for organisation only. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions about your pet.
Professional providers
Veterinarians, clinics, shops, and freelancers on SiraPet are independent third parties. We do our best to verify them, but SiraPet is not a party to your transaction with a provider and does not guarantee any particular outcome, quality, or availability. Any dispute is between you and the provider.
Orders, payments, and prices
- Prices are shown in both USD and LBP using the exchange rate in effect at the time of the order.
- Payment at launch is cash on delivery; other payment methods may be added later.
- Delivery and fulfilment are handled by the shop or provider, not by SiraPet directly.
- Refunds and returns are handled according to each shop's policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use SiraPet for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.
- Upload content that infringes another person's rights or is abusive, misleading, or offensive.
- Attempt to access, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt SiraPet or its infrastructure.
- Impersonate another person, a veterinarian, or a business.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Content you upload
You keep ownership of the photos, documents, and information you upload. You grant SiraPet a limited licence to store, display, and process that content solely to run the service for you (for example, to show your pet's vaccination history to a vet you have granted access to).
Changes to the service
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. If a change materially affects how you use SiraPet, we will try to give reasonable notice through the app or by email.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that remain inactive for an extended period. When an account is deleted, data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer and liability
SiraPet is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Lebanese law, SiraPet is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data, loss of profit, or costs arising from decisions made based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Beirut unless mandatory local consumer law applies.
